FanDraft 2021 is now available!
Last season we launched the next generation of FanDraft, where we transformed the previous desktop software into an online application. This long-overdue evolution was expedited due to the pandemic, which brought an immediate need to use the software fully online. However, the transition also added several other benefits: Now users can access the FanDraft software from any computer at any time they want, there is persistent storage of archived (prior season) drafts, and most importantly there is an ability for remote owners to participate in your in-person/live drafts.
NEW FEATURES IN FANDRAFT 2021
Along with the aforementioned benefits of running FanDraft “in the cloud”, the platform now has the technological infrastructure to continually improve. Below is a list of the biggest features added in 2021. You can also view the full list here, which will continue to expand through the year.
Audio Features
Sync’ed SFX.
Customize "Team Song" as either: "Continue songs where they leave off", "Start songs over for every pick", or "Stop songs (fade out) after 15 seconds".
Auto-change song tracks.
Added ability for Remote users to turn off Team Songs.
UI Improvements
Can now customize ticker speed.
Added slider component to Team Song volume control.
Auction teams with $0 won't get skipped during the nomination process when Min Bid is $0.
“Auto-Draft” algorithm improved.
Improved stylizing of cell format for "Traded Picks".
General Features
Customizable Position Cell Colors.
Support for 3rd Round Reversal and other custom order types.
End of Draft "Report Card".
Chat: Ability to DM other owners.
"Hide Player Rankings" tool.
"Veterans Only" / "Rookie Only" player pools.
Shareable link to a draft board.
Added SuperFlex (QB+RB+TE+WR).
Auction Enhancements
Added ability to do decimal bidding.
“Bid Increments” are now customizable.
Owners can now customize their opening bid amount.
Added ability to customize “Wrap-Up” time.
DESKTOP OPTION
For those of you who will be drafting in a place without internet access, we brought back an installable Desktop version of FanDraft, which is available for both the Mac and PC. The desktop version is independent of the online application and must be purchased separately. You can learn more about the desktop option here.
